There are a lot of things that need to be taken into account while planning a vacation to a different country on a different continent, so make sure you give them all the attention they need.

Starting with the question of whether or not you will be allowed to enter the country, following on to the topic of where you will be staying and how long you will be there, and finishing up with the duration of your stay in that area.

If you are going from a country that does not provide its citizens with a significant amount of freedom of movement in other countries, then you will most likely be needed to obtain a visa before entering the country that you intend to visit.

This post will discuss the specifics of invitation letters, and their various varieties, and provide samples of invitation letters for visa applications.

A letter of invitation for a visa is a letter that is written by the individual you plan to visit who resides in the country that you wish to visit. This letter must be provided to the consular officer at the Schengen border crossing. Your host has extended an invitation for you to remain with them, and by doing so, they are implicitly assuming the responsibility of ensuring that you will not overstay your visa. They have done this by inviting you to remain with them, and by doing so, they have extended an invitation for you to remain with them.

When applying for a C/VV, C/TU, or C/A short-stay visa, the citizen of certain countries is required to present an invitation that has been approved by the General Inspectorate for General Immigration – Ministry of Internal Affairs (IGI-MAI). This is the case for the following types of visas: C/VV, C/A, and C/TU. The primary purposes of these visas are to facilitate private travel, tourism, and business travel.

The Invitation Letter follows a Romanian government template. Here’s the template format. Before being accepted, the visa applicant must provide permission to email them this template. The letter will include the invitee’s name, the purpose of the visit, the period spent in Romania, and the means of payment for any charges. The letter also specifies time spent in Romania. If the tourist expects to pay for his or her expenses, he or she must provide the consular official with sufficient money. If the Romanian party or host can afford the costs, you may need to present a supporting affidavit.

Types of Romanian Visas

Visas to Romania are classified into four categories:

The Romania Airport Transit Visa (A Type) permits the holder to access the international section of a Romanian airport to await a connecting flight to another destination.

The Romania Transit Visa (B Type) allows the holder to transit through Romania for a maximum of 5 days when traveling to another country.

The Romania Short Stay Visa (C Type) allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 90 days in six months. For the following reasons, a Romania Short Stay Visa is issued:

  • Private tourism visit
  • Participating in sports as a business
  • Participating in educational, scientific, or cultural events
  • The mission of the government
  • Transportation

The Romania Long Stay Visa (D Type) permits the bearer to enter Romania and apply for permission to stay for more than 90 days (a Romanian residence permit). As a result, the visa is only good for 90 days, but if you get a resident card, you can stay in the nation indefinitely for work, study, or family reunification, among other reasons.
