Sample Invitation Letter for visa to Philippines

How to write an invitation letter for visa to the Philippines (With Free Samples)

A letter requesting a guest visa from the Philippine embassy or consulate is known as a Visa Invitation Letter for a Filipino. There must be a written confirmation from your host that you will be accommodated in their house during your whole visit, either to you directly or to a consular officer on behalf of the host’s country of residence. Either the applicant or the consular officer should receive the letter.

What are the important information which should be in a Visa Invitation Letter?

The visa invitation letter must contain the following information about the host:

  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Occupation
  • Type of home (owned / rent house/flat/room)
  • Host’s residential status in the host country
  • Signature

On the other side, the letter must also include the following information about the guest:

  • Full name as shown on their International passport
  • Date of birth
  • The person’s address and telephone number
  • Relationship between the host and the guest
  • The purpose of the trip (friendly visit, holiday, wedding, birthday party.)
  • Exact entry date and exit date

It is best to avoid sounding too professional if you are writing to a visitor directly. There should be a more personal tone, rather than an overtly official one, to convey a clearer picture of the host-guest connection to a consular officer.

Who can provide a Visa Invitation Letter?

The person providing the visa invitation letter must fulfill the following requirements for the letter of invitation to be valid:

  • Must be a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the Philippines
  • Must be your family member/relative or friend, boyfriend/ girlfriend
  • Must have a registered place (apartment or house) in the Philippines
  • Must have enough room for the applicant or the applicant and his or her family members if the applicant is traveling to the Philippines with his or her family

On some occasions, the Letter of Invitation is not required by the Filipino embassy, but it is strongly recommended to submit one even if not required.

Are all types of letters of invitation for visas the same?

If you are going to the Philippines for a specific purpose, you will need to apply for a specific sort of visa for the country that you need.

Identifying which type of Philippines visa you require is a simple process. For one of the following reasons, you can apply for a Filipino visa:

Filipino Tourist Visa

Foreigners who intend to visit the Philippines might apply for a visa that will allow them to stay for a shorter period, such as 30 days within three months.

Filipino Visitor Visa

Make it possible for non-Filipino members of the family and friends who live outside of the Philippines to visit the Philippines to meet their Filipino relatives, children, spouses, and friends.

Filipino Business Visa

This letter is written to take part in activities linked to business, such as attending or leading meetings, conferences, or training, installing equipment, or doing other temporary services for a client, local affiliate, or branch office in the Philippines.

For this article, we will be focusing mostly on the invitation letters that are required to obtain a visa for tourism or to conduct business in the Philippines.

Re: UK Tourist Visa Application Of Ms. Freddielyn | Passport Number Expiry Date: July 12, 2023

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

I am writing this letter to tell you about myself and why I am asking for a tourist visa to the Philippines. My name is Freddielyn. My birthday is on the 14th of this month, and I am currently working at Genvio Pharma Uk as an administrative assistant. Located in Hell City, the United Kingdom, Genvio Pharma is a pharmaceutical company. My monthly take-home pay is $1000, and my annual take-home pay is $12,000, as a typical employee.

Mr. Christ Doyle and I met on a dating service in March of last year, and we are now engaged. After four months of chatting via chat and email, he came to see me in person. While in the UK, he spent at least two weeks. In April of this year, he invited me to join him and his family in the Philippines. That is when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. For the second year in a row, he is inviting me to spend the holiday season with him and his family. During the winter and the Yuletide season, we are both eager to see what life is like there.

My arrival date in the Philippines is set for December 17th, and my departure date is set for January 21st, 2020. Mr.Christ Doyle has agreed to pay for my flight to the Philippines, as well as my lodging and food while I am there.

I have provided you with sufficient data and documentation to make an informed decision. This cell phone number is available for any additional questions or clarifications you may need. At (633) 917-501

Sincerely.

Freddielyn
