How to Write a Cover letter for Russia Visa
So, you are traveling to Russia, and have gotten your visa application invitation, but you wish to include a cover letter in your application. A cover letter is a document, detailing your trip information, and also an important way of increasing your visa application approval.
To write a cover letter, an introduction is important, this section provides a clear outline of what the cover letter is all about and makes it easier to understand. Remember, the goal is to get your visa application approved.
After the introduction, you will then state the purpose of your visit to Russia with an itinerary, explaining what your activities are, and how long you will take.
Thereafter, you will need to convince the consulate that you will not be exceeding your visa duration in Russia, the Embassy is always suspicious of immigrants, so you need to convince the immigration office that you are not going to be exceeding your approved duration in Russia, this may include a statement about your dependents back at your home country, or if you are going on a trip, sponsored by your company, you will need to remind the consulate that you are to return in honor of your company agreement.
In the case you are traveling with a minor, you need to state that parental consent is approved, and also, include a letter of consent if you had one, you must also state that you have made adequate preparations for your trip, including your financial statement and a provision for accommodation, transport, feeding and emergencies.
You should include your employment information, schooling information, travel history, dependents or family members staying back at home, depending on the visa type and conditions of your journey, don’t use complicated languages, and write your letter in a simple and short format
