How Much is Dubai Visa Fee from Nigeria

Dubai is one of the most important countries that Nigerians visit regularly.  Known as the largest country in the United Arab Emirates and also the highest populated, Dubai forms an integral part of the Middle East and is considered a global city. The city is also known all over the world for its incredible architecture, enormous beauty and of course it’s booming economy. 
People from all over the world including Nigerians visit Dubai for a variety of reasons. For the tourists, this includes the abundance of beauty and beaches and its masterpiece architectural wonders like the tallest building in the world as well as the warm embracing people. Dubai is also a regular stop for business minded Nigerians who visit the city regularly for business and trading.
Applying for a Dubai visa in Nigeria is not an especially hard task. Apart from the couple of forms you have to fill, an important aspect you must take care of is the payment of all necessary fees.  These fees vary and depends on the class of visa for which you applying such that someone who is applying for a single entry visa will pay different amount from another applying for a multiple entry visa.  Also the fees for individuals applying for short term visas differ from that of long term visa.
In this article, I am going to make a list of visa types available to Nigerians and discuss the visa application and processing fees attached to each visa type.
1. The 96-Hour Visa
This type of Visa is issued to individuals who plan to travel to Dubai for a very short period not more than four days.  The 96-hour visa is only valid for 96 hours and useful for individuals who are travelling for purpose of business meeting or in transit to another country and stopping over in the United Arab Emirates before proceeding to their final destination. The 96-hour visa remains valid for 30 days from the date on which it is issued.

2. The 14 days Visa
The duration of stay for this visa type is 14 days. The type of visa remains valid only for 14 days from the date at which it is issued and is usually non-extendable. This type of visa can be issued to individuals attending business meetings or travelling for a short visit.

3. The 90 days Long Term visa
There are different classes of the 90 days visa available for people travelling to Dubai:

a. The 90 day Long Term single entry visa: this gives you the opportunity to travel to Dubai for a period of three months. The 90 day single entry visa is regarded as a long term visa and is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.

90 day Long Term Single Entry Visa fees:
This class of visa costs N68,880.

b. The 90 day Long Term multiple entry visa: this is also known as the multi entry long Term Visa. Like the single entry long term visa, this visa type is equally valid for 90 days from the date of issue. The multiple entry long term visa is non cancellable and the holder is permitted to enter into Dubai or the United Arab Emirates more than once within the 90 day period.

This class of visa costs N168,525.

4. The 30 days visa Class:
There are two types of the 30-day visa that an individual can obtain to travel to Dubai:

a. Single entry 30 day visa: This is also known as a Short Term Visit Single Entry visa. The duration of stay for this visa type is 30 days. The 30-day visa is non extendable and remains valid only for 58 days from the date at which it is issued.
This kind of visa is issued to individuals who intend to travel to Dubai on a short visit to friend or relatives or as tourists.

5. Multi Entry 30-day visa:

This is also known as the Multi Entry Short Term Visa. This visa type is valid for 58days from the date of issue and is non-extendable. The multiple entry short term visa is non cancellable and the holder is permitted to enter into Dubai or the United Arab Emirates more than once within the 30 day period.

6. Cancellation fees
If you wish to cancel your visa after you have applied, you may be required to pay a cancellation fee which is put at N10,950

7. Payment Facilitation Charge
For each visa application, you are requested to pay a Payment Facilitation Charge of N500.

Important Note

  1. The 30-day multiple entry visa has currently been suspended from been issued till further notice.
  2. For every payment made during the visa application process, ensure that you collect your evidence of payment (usually an electronic receipt) at the visa application centres.
  3. You can apply for the Dubai visa and pay the visa application fees at the following address;
